How much does a tow cost in Fairfax, VA?

Towing prices in Fairfax County depend on three things: your hook-up fee, the driving distance to your drop-off, and any after-hours or fuel surcharge. Onyx Auto Towing keeps it simple and upfront — you see your price before the truck rolls, with no hidden fees added at the scene.

Our standard tow starts at a $95 hook-up plus $5 per mile for local towing across Fairfax, Fair Oaks, Fair Lakes, Vienna, Oakton, Annandale, Springfield and the wider Northern Virginia area. Heavier vehicles and luxury or specialty vehicles (rams, trucks, SUVs, Tesla and other EVs) are quoted at a higher hook-up rate because they require a flatbed or a heavier wheel-lift. Hook-up fee

$95 for standard cars and light SUVs, $165 for heavy trucks and luxury/EV vehicles that need a flatbed.

Distance

$5 per mile of real driving distance — we measure the actual route, not a straight line, so you only pay for the miles we drive.

Fuel surcharge

A small fuel surcharge may apply to longer hauls outside Fairfax County. It's shown on your estimate before you book.
